Visiting Great Grandpa Hatch

Matt took the older three girls up to visit his Dad and Grandpa during the reading week break.  They had a good visit with them and it was nice for the girls to get away with just their dad too.
 
Matt came back through Edmonton on the way back and took the girls and his mom and brothers and sister out for supper.  Fun times!
  

Grade 5 Basketball

Grace has enjoyed playing basketball this year.  It is very non-competitive, they don’t take score or even make all the calls they could.  It was quite funny seeing them travel and double dribble and have it be ok and to just let them play.  Grace was on the same team as her cousin Tyler, so it was great to have my sister to go to the games with.  Grace made a lot of progress during the 6 weeks they played and surprised everyone at her abilities.  I am sure we have another basketball player in the family!

Sarah’s Birthday

Sarah turned 5 years old this year!  I am still in shock.  She had a few friends over for her first birthday party ever and then Grandma and Grandpa came over for lunch.  It was a super fun day for her!
        

Toothless Wonder

Becky has started to lose her teeth.  Since this one she is down three more.  One more sign that my kids are growing up way too fast!!

Pre-School Penguins

I love the pre-school my kids go to.  They have so much fun and do a lot of great crafts every time they go.  Today, they were talking about penguins and they got to come home with a penguin costume of their very own.

Big Boy Bed!

Gideon turned three in September and was still sleeping in a crib – I think I was in a little bit of denial that my baby is growing up.  It was time for a new bed for this big boy and he was pretty excited about it.  The transition took a week or two, and he only fell out twice and is an old pro now. 

Movie Night

We got some fun popcorn boxes and a couple of movies for Christmas from my sister Melissa and her family.  It was a fun family movie night!
